First of all I am grateful we have an open forum where these posts can manifest.
Secondly it is sad that to some degree "Hmm's" critique holds water. We are attempting to change this. As one small example, we altered Monday night's route so that the infamous 110 crossing and the subsequent parting of the red sea of traffic would be avoided.
Thirdly, I would encourage Hmm and anyone who takes his views to attend all of our rides, to witness the changes we make and to help us all ride safely together. Your post may change nothing, but riding with the club (any club) and being a good example and voice of reason from a respected position does change things.
