We have had the discussion about registration before and decided not to. Most people know who's posting, visitors to the site seeking information can post without the hassle of signing up, and if someone is not willing to leave their name, then their post is not worth much. Also, there are times when someone with something substantial to say just doesn't want to leave their name. And it sort of makes it more fun!
