There is room to cross in front of Simpsons. This is a 4 lane hwy with shoulders on both sides and a middle lane for turning. We cross from the shoulder to the turn lane and then left onto a county road. All perfectly legal. It doesn't matter where we ride there is going to be someone to complain about it in some form or fashion. I can guarantee that the anonymous person who started this thread may believe he rides in a way that doesn't upset motorists but he is living in a dream world. If you ride a bike....someone hates you. Everytime a car has to slow to pass him....the driver thinks he is doing something wrong. The thing is people should become aware of cyclists rights and what the law says in regards.
